Personal Growth is a Process

“My Growth is a Continuous Process.”

Personal Growth is considered to be a transformation into a better person, also, it implies a person is progressing or improving. This is an on going process that should never end. We should always strive to keep our growth going. Always strive to become better and better.

Every day we have the ability of choosing to improve ourselves. As we spoke in better not best we should always strive to become a little more than what we where yesterday.

A little more caring, more dependable, more responsible, more educated, more energetic, more generous, more hardworking, etc.

When we work on becoming a little more on positive aspects, like the ones mentioned before, we start becoming a little better overall, creating personal growth.

There are different activities we can do to look for our personal growth. Some easy options are:

  1. Reading
  2. Writing
  3. Meditating
  4. Exercising
  5. Listening to Podcasts
  6. Going to School/ Taking Courses.

Another key point is that in order to learn and improve we have to try. A lot of times we are gonna fail on those moments that we try. Keep trying after failing is what is going to make ourselves grow.

We are capable of doing difficult things, but just as babies try a lot of times before learning how to walk, we have to try a lot before we get it right.

Personal growth is a process that we have to keep trying to build every day. This process has no finish line, therefore we have to strive every day to become a little better than what we were yesterday.

Personal growth is a process that is gonna help us accomplish the life that we desire and deserve. Because the constant improvement of one self and becoming someone better is gonna help us attract better.

This doesn’t mean there is not gonna be some days were we feel like we failed. What’s important is that after these days happen, the next day we get back on track on our growth process.

Going back on track right away is gonna get us to grow and improve our lives, and as a result get everything that we deserve.

Better not Best

“Don’t give up because you had a bad day, forgive yourself and do better tomorrow.”

We usually strive to become the Best version of ourselves, often we forget that the best way to achieve this is to become better everyday. Thinking just to be the best might be a little overwhelming. Most things take time to build, but just because we don’t see the finished product right away, it does not mean that we are not getting closer to it.

Some days we feel like we didn’t accomplish anything, but sometimes this feeling comes due to us looking to see the final product, instead of focusing on the milestones that will get us there.  Instead of becoming the best that we can ever be, we should look to become better than what we were yesterday.

Looking to be better than we were yesterday, sometimes helps us not get unmotivated and be able to keep going until we reach our final destination. This happens because it is easier to achieve multiple smaller goals than just one real big one.

Also, it is important to get in our heads that winners don’t get there in their first attempt, they fail many times before they can accomplish the goal. It takes time and practice.

It is the same when we are aiming to be the best version of ourselves. Sometimes we are going to fail, but as long as we keep trying to be better every time, we will be getting closer to our final goal.

Every day, we should strive to become better than we where yesterday, not the best. In the end, the goal is to add up every single aspect in which we did improve to in fact get to become the best we have ever been.

This doesn’t mean we can’t keep getting better and better every single day.

Aim to be better not best to achieve your final goal with the following steps:

  1. Divide the main goal into smaller milestones.
  2. Check on your goals daily. See what you can do to accomplish a little extra evrytime.
  3. Know it’s ok to fail somedays, as long as you keep trying.
  4. Be patient with yourself.
  5. Take it one day at a time.
